Open a specific X, Jike or Weibo post before saving its content and source. If the content spans posts, decide whether you need the author’s thread or a discussion with other participants. Those scopes differ; one screenshot or title cannot stand for the entire context.

Open a permalink rather than a feed

Confirm the author, body and images on the post’s own page. Share that link to Nostos on your phone or save the current page with the extension. Feeds mix recommendations with target content, so a permalink helps identify the right object.

Keep X posts through their permalinks

Open the specific post you need within a thread and share or paste its permalink into Nostos. On desktop, use Save page. Save a reply's own link when it matters. An opening post is not proof that the entire discussion was acquired; follow the post-link workflow to check content and sources.

Make visual inspiration findable

For example, a purpose such as “desk lighting” makes saved interior ideas easier to revisit than “looks nice.” Describe what you want to learn from each image, retaining the creator and source. Private saving does not grant republication or commercial-use rights.

When only the main post was saved

Open a needed reply on the source platform and save its permalink separately, retaining its author's attribution. Repeatedly saving the opening post does not capture a whole discussion. Hidden or inaccessible content may remain missing.

Restricted pages

First confirm that the source is visible on its own platform. Login, verification, deleted and private pages are not normal post bodies. This workflow does not bypass access controls or recover deleted posts. Live Reddit saving still has outstanding validation, so it is not presented as a verified workflow here.
